Slevin Construction recently completed a bespoke oak frame outbuilding for a homeowner in the Oxford area. Designed to offer both practicality and visual appeal, the structure was supplied by Oak Frames Direct and has been expertly built into a double car port with an integrated storage area.

Quality Materials, Traditional Craftsmanship

The outbuilding features a high-quality green oak frame, traditionally jointed and secured to provide long-lasting strength and character. The exterior is finished in natural timber cladding, which not only enhances the rustic charm but also blends effortlessly with the surrounding countryside. A slate-tiled pitched roof adds a premium touch, ensuring the structure is weatherproof and durable.

The base of the building has been constructed with a red brick plinth, offering both a visual contrast and added protection against damp and ground movement.

Double Car Port and Secure Storage

The open fronted section provides ample space for two vehicles, making it the ideal car port for everyday convenience and protection. On the left-hand side, a set of solid oak double doors leads into a secure enclosed storage area—perfect for housing tools, garden equipment, bikes, or seasonal items.

Inside, the clean concrete floor and exposed timber beams give the space a clean, spacious feel, while maintaining the traditional aesthetic throughout.
